The Mystery of Exoplanets

As of now, thousands of exoplanets—planets outside our solar system—have been discovered. The Kepler Space Telescope and, more recently, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) have provided a treasure trove of data. Scientists are particularly interested in finding Earth-like planets within the habitable zone of their stars, where conditions may be right for life.
